Double piston tilt cylinder

Two double piston cylinders (left hand and right hand) make the cockpit tilt. The inner chambers are connected tot the hydraulic pump and to the DVC™ fluid tank via the DVC™ manifold. The outer chambers are connected via the same manifold to the backup pressure unit to make sure the cockpit returns to the uptight position should the primary hydraulic system fail. In normal mode, the inner chambers of the cylinders can be pressurized to max. 100 bar depending on the steering input, i.e. the force with the driver turns the steering wheel.
